Curriculum Vitae

Before joining California State University Channel Islands in 2022, I earned a Ph.D. in English with a specialization in Rhetoric and Composition and Technical and Professional Communication from Purdue University. My academic journey also includes an M.A. in Philosophy from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in Philosophy from Fort Lewis College.

My research agenda is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach that bridges business communication pedagogy, institutional analysis, and critical and cultural rhetorics. For more details, see my research page.
